Assistant Project Manager
Benning’s Assistant Project Managers (APM) will be providing administrative and technical support for the projects within their project team as you are also learning how Benning manages its projects. APM’s will work closely with the Project Manager Team as well as with office and field personnel.
This role requires the following:
- Assisting the project team with ensuring projects are completed in accordance with design, budget and schedule, and that all purchase orders and subcontracts are returned by the proper deadlines.
- Ensuring all purchase orders & subcontracts are returned by the proper deadlines.
- Gaining thorough knowledge of all AIA documents
- Ensuring all payment applications are sent out and submitted per contract terms.
- Generate project purchase requisitions.
- Ensuring that all official project logs and documentation files are properly maintained
- Prepare and provide weekly reports, accurately and timely.
- Primary interface with Owners, Architects, Engineers, inspectors, and trade partners.
- Developing and employing strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Maintaining all safety certifications.
- Developing and using strong conflict management and conflict resolution skills.
