Assoc Dir Market Intelligence
PURPOSE:
As an Associate Director in Market Intelligence, your role is to generate and curate critical market, customer, and business insights. You guide strategy by proactively addressing and translating business needs into meaningful market research. Additionally, you drive accurate and impactful market research analyses both in the US and globally by overseeing multiple vendors and leveraging innovative and recognized research methodologies. This position is pivotal in providing competitive advantage and driving revenue and profit growth within our organization.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate insights to provide competitive advantage and drive revenue and profit growth;
Manage primary market research activities, including research design, analysis, and conclusions/recommendations;
Manage syndicated market data acquisition and analysis and related vendor relationships;
Drive competitive intelligence gathering;
Support brand strategy, provide input to forecasts, and lead scenario/situational analyses;
Be accountable for designing and delivering management presentations;
Oversee vendors and agencies to ensure compliance with market research policies and other related regulations;
Track and manage project financials.
The preferred location for this role will be Indianola, PA, but residence-based candidates in the US will also be considered based upon the needs of the business.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Health Economics, Statistics, Management, Science, Business, Marketing, or related field;
Strong experience in both qualitative and quantitative market research design and execution;
Ability to lead efforts to understand customers, competitors, and market and to represent this knowledge accurately and with impact;
Strong analytical and data synthesis skills;
Solid understanding of and experience with relevant primary data (such as ERP and CRM data) and syndicated data (such as IQVIA and similar);
Experience with data analysis software, such as Microsoft Excel or similar;
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as demonstrable in oral management presentations, succinct PowerPoint stories and layout, as well as structured syntheses and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or related graduate degree preferred;
5+ years of overall full-time work experience, of which 3+ years of relevant experience in pharma/healthcare commercial market intelligence (primary research, secondary research, third party data analytics, vendor management, etc.) AND the most recent 3+ years full-time employed in healthcare.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $127,976-$191,965. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
