Junior Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense (1-3 Years of Experience)

Hightower & Partners, an AV-rated insurance defense firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team in West Palm Beach, FL. This is an in-office position, and candidates must be Florida Bar licensed and in good standing with the ability to commute to the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle insurance defense litigation, including (but not limited to) personal injury, premises liability, auto claims, and general liability cases
- Manage cases from inception to resolution, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda
- Attend court proceedings, hearings, and depositions as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives
- Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or civil litigation
- Must be licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Experience with billable hours preferred
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently and work efficiently under deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with billing practices in a law firm setting preferred
