Description
Summary: Assists in managing daily activities at a specific service shop location. Works with the Field Service Manager on budget planning and analyzing profit and loss statements.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Field Service Technicians: Provide leadership, scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Act as Service Manager in the Field: Oversee service teams, coordinate activities, and resolve escalated issues.
- Project Management: Lead planning, execution, and completion of service projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and standards.
- Technical Support: Offer guidance on troubleshooting and solutions for technical issues.
- Customer Communication: Engage with customers to understand needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Manage equipment, tools, and materials, including procurement and replenishment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Keep records of activities, prepare reports on performance and metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Assist in supervising 3 to 20 employees, including administrative support, installers, and technicians. Responsibilities include providing daily work direction, approving absences or overtime, and participating in hiring, firing, and promotion decisions. Conduct annual performance reviews and approve time tickets.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Associate's Degree in electronics & wireless system repair or related field, plus 1-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience.
