Location: On-site in Tampa, FL (33607)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST
Pay: $23/hour
Contract: 6 months with potential extension up to 3 years
Start Date: August 3rd, 2025
What You'll Do
Connect & Communicate: Handle inbound calls and outreach from healthcare professionals at medical facilities
Navigate Insurance Systems: Work directly with health insurance plans to verify coverage and benefits
Investigate & Resolve: Contact healthcare facilities to gather missing information and complete patient cases
Verify & Validate: Process benefits verification for patient cases in your queue with accuracy and efficiency
Identify Solutions: Determine next steps including copay requirements, prior authorizations, appeals, and appointment scheduling
Support Healthcare: Ensure seamless benefits verification processes that keep healthcare services moving
About the Opportunity
This position supports our client's critical annual reverification period (January-February), but your impact extends year-round. You'll work in a dynamic call center environment where your healthcare expertise directly supports medical professionals and patients across the system.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience:
2+ years of healthcare call center experience
Back-office operations experience in a central business office setting
Prior authorization or patient access experience
Solid understanding of benefits verification processes
Demonstrated career progression and job stability (1+ year tenure in previous roles)
Healthcare call center, front desk, or back-office health experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
