Overview
Assists the Not New Shop Manager and Lead in the daily operations of the Not New Shop. This position ensures that quality service is provided to customers and that a positive working environment is assured. Successful fulfillment of these responsibilities contributes to the smooth operation of the shop and to positive relations with customers and volunteers.

Responsibilities
Supports the comprehensive sales plan for the shop including a promotion plan that includes a variety of communication to potential customers.
·Assists and provides feedback to NNS Manager and Lead related to merchandise and sales.
·Supports NNS Shop Manager and Lead with product merchandising, including in-store and window displays, including training volunteers to also assist.
·Supports special sales in collaboration with the Manager, Coordinator, and Supervisor.
·Restocks merchandise as needed
·Works closely with NNS volunteers providing training and support.Appropriately delegates responsibilities; builds strong and positive working relationships
Supports the financial and operational goals of the gift shops. Understands overall strategy and budget of the department while functioning within operational policies.
·Assist with product receipt and donations, pricing, merchandising and inventory system
·Supports the NNS Manager and Lead in performing the daily operations of the Gift Shops.
·Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Preferred or Specialized
Education:
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Previous retail experience
Retail experience in a thrift shop; experience working with and supervising volunteers/employees
License(s)/Certification(s):
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
