Stryker is hiring a Remote Manager of Clinical Excellence for our Neurovascular Division
What you will do
As the Manager of Clinical Excellence, you will work with key stakeholders to oversee the operation of Clinical Information Systems and Data Management. Your responsibilities include functional implementation, analysis, testing, documentation, developing long-term and short-term plans for the systems, and coordinating the operation of new and existing systems. You will develop and deliver Clinical Technology Systems and Data Management strategies, drive innovation, automation, and promote transparency regarding technology, systems, and processes within the organization.
- Coordinate system development plans, establish objectives, priorities, timelines, and report progress to management.
- Lead the justification, acquisition, implementation, and integration of new products and technologies into the clinical organization, coordinating with Clinical and Medical Affairs.
- Manage projects through collaboration with IT teams, management, and external partners, ensuring proper implementation phases.
- Oversee staff providing first-line support for systems software, troubleshooting, and liaising with IT and vendors. Manage analysis, development, testing, and maintenance of in-house systems.
- Lead the Data Management Team, ensuring continuous improvement and operational compliance, coordinating with Statistics and COPs staff.
- Manage outsourcing of data management projects to CROs as needed.
- Ensure validation documentation meets regulatory guidelines in collaboration with IT teams.
- Maintain SOPs and documentation for clinical systems and support processes.
- Coordinate applications supporting clinical and medical affairs, leading meetings to escalate issues and establish standards.
- Identify clinical business system needs, participate in business case creation, system selection, validation, and implementation.
- Manage electronic Case Report Forms (eCRF) throughout studies, updating based on feedback.
- Establish data quality standards via Data Handling Protocols and ensure adherence throughout the study lifecycle.
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) required.
- 8+ years managing clinical systems, ideally in neurovascular.
- Experience with back-end development, database design, programming (e.g., SQL, Python, R, PowerBI).
- Proficiency in computer systems, CTMS, EDC, eTMF, DICOM/image management, and Clinical IT project delivery.
- Experience validating, qualifying, and auditing vendors and systems.
- Knowledge of virtualization, data management, and storage systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary: $127,200 - $208,000 USD annually, plus bonus and benefits. Actual compensation varies based on location, skills, experience, and other factors.
