Position Summary
This position is responsible for generating and managing the Bankandrsquo;s commercial relationships throughout the Bankandrsquo;s Jacksonville Florida footprint. Responsible for the review of loan requests and their underwriting, insuring appropriateness and satisfaction levels of existing Bank services with commercial relationships. Responsible for developing revenue growth through the generation of loans, deposits, cross-selling all applicable Bank services to existing and new customer base, and identify and solicit Bank services to non-customers.Main Accountability/Responsibilities
- Ensure that customer relationships are managed to the highest profit potential for the Bank.
- Cross-sell all applicable Bank products and services to existing portfolio, and new Bank customers, and manage the sales process in assigned marketing area.
- Develop extensive knowledge of all customers and businesses.
- Develop profitable new business, both credit and non-credit customers
- Meet or exceed all loan and deposit generation targets. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Work with underwriters in the preparation/underwriting of loan requests including the gathering and analyzing of financial and market data.
- Present prepared credit requests to the appropriate individual or committee as directed for approval.
- Monitor, on an ongoing basis, information concerning customer performance, abilities, and industry to determine that the loan is an acceptable risk according to the Bankandrsquo;s credit policy.
- Ensure proper reporting, documentation and commercial loan reviews to determine that the credit remains an acceptable risk.
- Identify acceptable credit opportunities that have the potential of leading to significant credit and non-credit sales and enhanced relationship profitability through these selling efforts.
- Work closely with the Commercial Loan Administration in the maintenance of all assigned and generated loans within your personal commercial loan portfolio.
- Participate in various community affairs and bank designated projects to promote the image of the Bank and further develop new business opportunities.
