Full Job DescriptionOur well-known beauty / haircare client is seeking a Community Manager with hairstylist experience in order to bring their expertise and authenticity to the brand's pro digital channels. This is a 40hr / week, hybrid assignment that requires going onsite in NYC 3 days a week. This assignment will be 3 months to start with a possibility of extension.This person's day to day will prioritize community management, insights reporting, content creation and engaging in social listening. This person will also engage in a lot of collaboration moments cross-functionally to ensure success of social initiatives. Hard Skills: - Social media community management - Content creation - Analytics/data Soft Skills: - Proactive communication - Organization/attention to detail - Collaboration Community Manager Responsibilities: - Post, monitor & engage with the community on social media channels - Write copy/captions and develop community responses - Create and optimize social media content - Respond to questions and comments across all social channels in a quick & timely manager with ability to spot potential crisis - Build organic relationships with influencers & advocates through community outreach, product send outs, and new consumer identification - Collaborate & align with key partners to ensure launches, events and partnerships are supported on social - Generate insights reporting & engage in competitive outreach - Engage in social listening to identify and act on trends - Support digital lead on additional digital media related requests, including but not limited to: channel management process and workflows, channel & post innovation, creative input, and support on launch plans Community Manager Requirements: - 2-3 years in social media management - Excellent verbal communication & writing skills - Attention to detail - A creative eye to curate cohesive and engaging social platforms - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit - Enthusiastic attitude and flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace - Passionate about social and digital media with an eye for trends - Willing to work some nights and weekends as needed - Ability to commute to NYC and be in office 2-3 days a weekIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
