About the Opportunity:
We are partnering with a leading global OEM specializing in critical infrastructure to expand their Controls Engineering team in the VA/DC area. This is an excellent opportunity for both seasoned professionals and emerging technicians to contribute to high-impact data center projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute complex installations, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center control systems.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor on large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Act as the onsite point of contact for complex technical issues, delivering expert solutions and client recommendations.
- Train and mentor Field Engineers and Technicians, fostering professional growth and successful project delivery.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections and contribute to technical reports to drive continuous improvement.
- Utilize Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platforms, with proficiency in protocols such as Modbus and BACnet.
- Apply field expertise with Direct Digital Control (DDC) controllers.
- Preferred: Experience with Tridium Niagara 4 software and controllers.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting control systems, particularly in data center environments.
- Strong hands-on skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning in a field-based setting.
