WORKING IN CORPORATE INTELLIGENCE AT S-RM
Our team researches the backgrounds of potential business partners, responds to bespoke inquiries, and supports clients in contentious disputes. We utilize advanced research techniques and tools to investigate corporate and individual activities, assess evidence, and provide contextual analysis to aid client decision-making.

THE ROLE
As an analyst, you'll employ research and intelligence-gathering techniques to assess how companies and individuals operate, their reputation, and integrity. You'll work on projects such as evaluating a healthcare company's acquisition target or assisting law firms with litigation support. Our practice areas include Compliance Due Diligence, Deal Advisory, Disputes & Investigations, ESG, and Strategic Intelligence.
The successful candidate will report to a senior associate and develop skills across our practice areas, providing high-quality intelligence and analysis. Key skills include:
- An accredited degree, military service, or equivalent experience;
- Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills;
- Knowledge of US, Canadian, Caribbean, Central, and Latin American public records research, legal databases, and OSINT tools;
- Ability to identify relevant issues, evaluate sources, and ensure accuracy;
- Research skills in political, regulatory, and corporate risk environments in the Americas;
- Willingness to research outside the Americas as needed;
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to managers and clients;
- Interest in international public records; and
- Foreign language skills are a plus but not required.
The role is based in Washington DC or New York, with flexible working arrangements.
