You are:
We are looking for an innovative, forward-thinking, and highly skilled Art Director to join our Accenture Song Creative team. We seek a proactive, self-motivated, and inspirational candidate with solid visual design capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of how brands can express themselves across an ecosystem. At Accenture, you will conceptualize and design solutions as part of an interdisciplinary agency team including strategists, writers, designers, data analysts, technology, media, and studio production specialists.
The work:
- Work under the direction of the creative director and often in partnership with a writer. You will own visual concepts and solutions that address a range of creative challenges while maintaining or developing an optimal design workflow.
- Oversee and be hands-on in creating visual designs and systems, including typography, logos, icons, and more, applying design principles such as color, typography, photographic selection, organizing elements, and usability.
- Conceptualize and design solutions that are on brief, on brand, and leverage brand style guides and strategic principles.
- Concept, assign, and direct designers, production staff, and vendors to fulfill the creative vision.
- Prepare flawless deliverables for handoff to developers, producers, and clients.
- Present and defend solutions to other creatives, account leaders, and clients.
- Collaborate across disciplines with copywriters, designers, project managers, strategists, and developers.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Manage and mentor junior art directors and designers.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of design experience (in B2B or B2C client work).
- At least 3 years of experience in an agency environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating brand-building designs, compelling visual solutions, and interactive experiences.
- Understanding of current visual trends and aesthetic sensibilities.
- Experience across all media including digital, social, film, longform content, and print.
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, visual arts, advertising, digital media, or related fields.
- Comfort presenting and defending work internally and to clients.
- Expertise in strategic brainstorming, brand design, and campaign development.
- Experience with Telecomm, Media, and Technology (CMT) industry clients.
- Experience using GenAI in workflows.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Figma.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with scaled AOR engagements at a design level.
- Portfolio with award-winning work (OneShow, AD&D, Cannes, Webbys, Emmys, Andy’s, Effies, ADC).
- Motion graphics or illustration skills are a plus.
- Participation in new business initiatives.
- Experience in directing photo/video shoots.
