You are:
We are looking for an innovative, forward-thinking, and highly skilled Art Director to join our Accenture Song Creative team. We seek a proactive, self-motivated, and inspirational candidate with solid visual design capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of how brands can express themselves across a brand ecosystem anchored on driving customer experience. At Accenture, you will conceptualize and design solutions as part of an interdisciplinary agency team including strategy, developers/technologists, user experience designers, content strategists, writers, and studio production specialists.
The work:
- Work under the direction of Creative Directors. Own visual concepts and solutions that solve a range of creative challenges while maintaining or developing an optimal design workflow.
- Oversee and actively participate in creating visual designs and systems, including typography, logos, icons, and more, applying design principles such as color, typography, photographic selection, organizing elements, and usability.
- Conceptualize and design solutions that are brief, on-brand, and leverage brand style guides, strategic principles, and templates.
- Author new brand styles and guidelines.
- Assign, direct, and collaborate with designers, production staff, and vendors to fulfill the creative vision.
- Prepare flawless deliverables for handoff to developers, producers, and clients.
- Present and defend solutions to other creatives, UX teams, developers, account leaders, and clients.
- Collaborate across disciplines with UX, copywriters, designers, project managers, strategists, and developers; lead brand style workshops.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Lead, mentor, assign tasks, and contribute to the growth of junior designers and art directors.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- At least 6 years of experience in an agency environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating at least 4 years of compelling visual solutions, design, and interactive experiences, with a diverse range of work and current visual trends.
- At least 4 years of experience with Photoshop and Illustrator.
- At least 3 years of experience with Sketch, Adobe XD, and/or Figma, with strong communication skills.
- At least 3 years of experience in cross-channel content creation (social, email, digital).
Bonus points if:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years), preferably in design, digital media, or related fields.
- Skills in motion graphics or illustration.
- Strong understanding of brand design systems principles.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and client deck creation.
- Experience in e-commerce design.
- Excellent presentation skills and client-facing experience.
- Participation in new business initiatives.
- Experience with packaging design and emerging digital platforms.
- Photo/video shoot direction experience.
