The purpose of the Global Marketing team is to play a leading role in the transformation of the BA marketing function to achieve 7%+ growth YoY and increase marketings contribution to the business. The GLOBAL MARKETING team is the steward of One BA messaging and content strategy for consistency across our six regions and industry impact. This team will focus on top commercial priorities with multi-region P&L impact and will lead multi-region integrated marketing campaigns to attract, engage, convert and retain customers across BA's channels, end users across prioritized geographies. The Global Marketing team drives functional excellence for customer marketing by focusing on core fundamentals such as digital automation, messaging, lead to revenue (L2R) and more to optimize process, share best practices and increase impact of the BA marketing organization.
The role of the New Product Introduction (NPI) Customer Marketing Leader will oversee the launch of NPIs to enable the incremental revenue for Building Automation in 2025 and growing impact in future years. This leader will represent BA on the global design model rollout for NPI and will hold BA customer marketers accountable for achieving the success measures and adhering to the process, technology and tool utilization. The NPI Customer marketing leader will own the MOS working with offering management teams on a select number of top global NPIs, and interfacing with regions to execute demand generation activities to achieve AOP.
Specific areas of focus will include, but not limited to:
Collaborate with Offering Teams, for multi-region and/or multi-GBE NPIs that are deemed top priority. This will involve being accountable for customer marketing deliverables aligning with the launch framework and customer marketing needs.
Collaborate with regional customer marketing teams to enable strategy recommendations, demand generation assets and enablement, for campaign execution to achieve NPI AOP goals.
Be the point-of-contact into Global Offering Management Excellence for process alignment, information and execution needs.
Drive the annual NPI battlecard and NPI video requirements to bolster sales readiness for our NPIs, and work with the BA commercial team for the NPI training / enablement needs
Facilitate NPI readiness reviews with customer marketers, especially for the top 30 NPIs, looking for adherence to the GDM, and driving corrective actions
Collaborate with marketing operations and the global marketing team for NPI reporting, NPI dashboard tracking, and increased visibility into marketings contribution to the AOP
Collaborate with marketing operations to culturally transform BA marketing to data driven marketers and problem-solvers for better business outcomes (pipeline, conversion, wins), continual improvement of marketing strategies and results accountability.
Build the BA marketing playbooks to define how we win (starting point), refine to strengthen best practice and enable greater knowledge retention, speed of execution and increase marketings contribution to the business over the STRAP period.
Be a SME on personas, industry trends, market segmentation and competitive intelligence to ensure our marketing practices reflect current industry dynamics
Manage, coach, evaluate and develop talent, and hold team members to high standard building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement and seek ways to do things better, faster and more efficiently.
Bring new ideas to the organization to drive brand awareness, digital excellence, generate revenue and showcase the value of marketing to internal stakeholders.
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in customer marketing or related roles, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven choices
Excellent communication and people-oriented skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively convey ideas
Ability to guide and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
