Description We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Administrator to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a crucial role in protecting the organization's systems, networks, and sensitive data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cybersecurity management, provide strategic guidance, and implement effective security measures to ensure the integrity and safety of our digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage cloud security across Azure and Office 365, ensuring compliance with established policies and best practices.
Evaluate, detect, and respond to security threats using advanced tools, conducting forensic analysis when needed.
Administer Identity and Access Management solutions, including privileged access, enforcing least privilege policies.
Analyze systems and networks to identify vulnerabilities and implement protective measures.
Deploy and maintain Data Loss Prevention solutions to safeguard sensitive information.
Develop and implement countermeasures to protect personnel and organizational assets from cyber threats.
Automate and streamline security processes to optimize team efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks.
Maintain and update Security Information and Event Management systems for centralized threat detection and logging.
Document and report security incidents, perform root cause analyses, and create after-action reports.
Conduct security awareness training sessions to educate staff on best practices and emerging threats. Requirements - Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or cloud security, with attention to detail.
Strong skills in communication, documentation, problem-solving, and leadership, with the ability to work collaboratively in teams.
Proficiency in cloud security technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
Familiarity with security tools and frameworks, such as Data Loss Prevention systems and threat detection platforms.
Knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation.
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
