P3Hired is working with their DMV area custom design-build firm client on their search for an Operations Analyst to support internal operations through dashboard development, data integration, and process improvement. This role works closely with the Director of Operations & Data and plays a critical part in streamlining workflows across departments. While the primary focus is on data and systems, the role also supports tracking and improving permitting processes in collaboration with the design and construction teams. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The targeted salary range for this hybrid role is $80,000 - $90,000 plus comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Data and Operations
- Build, integrate, and manage dashboards in Smartsheet to track departmental workflows
- Link data sources to create real-time, actionable reports for leadership
- Monitor project flow and identify bottlenecks across design, estimating, and construction
- Recommend and implement operational improvements
- Translate reporting needs into usable visual formats
- Support strategic planning and internal performance tracking
- Handle other data and operations tasks as needed
Permitting and Process Tracking
- Track permit status and timelines during construction to prevent delays
- Maintain the permit WIPS schedule and update data in Tertius (DC’s online permitting system)
- Support permitting workflows by helping document and improve internal processes
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Smartsheet or similar tools (Monday.com, Asana, Microsoft planner)
- Proficient in Excel; Power BI or other visualization tools a plus
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data sets
- Excellent communicator and collaborator across teams
- Knowledge of DC permitting processes is helpful but not required
- 2+ years in operations, analytics, or construction support roles preferred
- Familiarity with remodeling or construction workflows is a plus
