Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Field Engagement Director to lead the design and execution of demand tactics that drive pipeline for our North America cloud infrastructure field sales teams. This role is responsible for driving alignment between field sales and go-to-market strategies and priorities, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring consistent communication and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, team leadership, and change management, with a proven ability to inspire and influence across all levels of the organization.
As Field Engagement Director, you will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Enablement, and Product stakeholders to define priorities, identify market opportunities, and drive key strategic priorities. This is a highly collaborative and visible role, ideal for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is very strategic.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement go-to-market strategies to support business objectives and employee experience.
Partner with regional and cross-functional leaders to drive the adoption of initiatives, programs, and best practices.
Identify and implement demand tactics to drive pipeline.
Monitor field feedback, performance metrics, and engagement levels to identify opportunities for improvement.
Serve as a key liaison between field teams and corporate functions to ensure alignment and two-way communication.
Lead forums and training initiatives that promote culture, growth, and operational excellence.
Act as a trusted partner to sales leadership to align field priorities with corporate strategies.
Act as a strategic thought partner to Sales, SDR, and Cloud Engineering leadership to evolve program needs and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in field sales, business development, sales operations, or related leadership roles.
Strong communication, collaboration, and influence skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Experience developing scalable engagement strategies and managing large, distributed teams.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of all field marketing activities within own business area to ensure achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profit and market control. Be an active member of the global Marketing team to ensure consistency of strategic marketing programs. Disseminate key corporate information to the line-of-business and geography operations pertaining to new product development/launches. Act as a liaison with management to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans. Direct marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the line-of-business and/or geography. Ensure consistency between global directions and single-geography and/or line-of-business implementation choices. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns on a line-of-business and/or geographical basis. Manage line-of-business/geographical social media strategy. Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, agencies, customers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve marketing objectives. Provide effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Manage the activities of the staff according to overall marketing strategies and budgets. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
