The Opportunity
Data Scientist III - FMIC Data Science (DAT Solutions, LLC, Beaverton, OR):
- Lead research projects and provide mentorship to team members (20%)
- Collaborate with ML Engineers to turn prototypes into products (20%)
- Evaluate and improve existing ML and statistical products (10%)
- Stay updated on modern cloud-based data science tools and practices (5%)
- Review code for data science researchers and ML engineers (20%)
- Assist product teams in data collection strategies (5%)
- Develop model monitoring tools (10%)
- Recommend new analytical and research tools to enhance team capabilities (10%)
Must have experience with:
- Cloud tools for data science (AWS S3, EC2, Sagemaker, Lambdas, GCP, Azure)
- Expert-level Python coding
- Docker, ECR, JFrog for model registry and deployment
- Data science products in freight and logistics
- On-call incident response for cloud models
- BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Snowsight
- End-to-end machine learning experiments and architectures
- Collaborative coding on platforms like GitHub
- GenAI and LLM prototypes
- Advanced machine learning algorithms and state-of-the-art techniques
- Knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and related tools
- Advanced SQL skills, including window functions and CTEs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field + 3 years experience, or
- Bachelor's degree + 5 years experience
