Talent Acquisition Specialist - United States | Canada - IT & NON IT Recruitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
- Set up and configure user accounts, email, and access permissions in Active Directory or similar environments.
- Assist in the deployment and upgrade of operating systems, applications, and security patches.
- Manage and track IT assets, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Educate end-users on best practices and provide basic IT training as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of issues and resolutions within the ticketing system.
- Support IT infrastructure projects and contribute to process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with Active Directory, domain environments, and remote desktop tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or ITIL.
- Experience in supporting MacOS and mobile devices.
- Knowledge of VPN, DNS, DHCP, and basic cybersecurity principles.
- Experience working in an enterprise IT environment.
