This is an onsite, contract position in Springfield, VA that requires an active TS SCI clearance.
This position supports a services & solutions business area to provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions to the client. As part of the team the DevOps Engineer's expertise is needed to support a sophisticated enterprise environment. The engineer will be an active participant in SAFe and Scrum development teams and meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI (CI poly preferred or willingness to obtain)
- 8+ years IT experience with a Bachelor’s (or equivalent)
- Strong DevOps background: CI/CD, automation, scripting, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD
- Experience with containers: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift
- Monitoring tools: Kibana, Grafana, or Nagios
- Scripting skills: Python, Bash, or Shell
- On-prem or hybrid cloud deployment experience
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
- Excellent troubleshooting & time management skills
- US citizenship
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using Helm to deploy to Kubernetes via GitLab
- Familiarity with IAM, S3, VPN, SSH and access management
- Familiarity with unit/functional testing
- Knowledge of microservice architecture and infrastructure security best practices
