The Role
We are seeking a new team member in the role of Director of Product Management to lead the development of our Phase 0 Human Trial Software. The Director of Product Management will have the rare opportunity to help lead the charge in creating a new category of Platform as a Service products that map the core concepts of PaaS from cloud computing into biomedical applications.

Location
This position is primarily remote with preference for candidates within a 2-hour commute of New Haven, CT and the expectation to travel bi-weekly to our office.

Technical Skill Requirements
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards (FDA, EMA, ISO) and experience in navigating product development through regulatory approval processes.
- Experience in Agile project management, product management tools, and iterative product development.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision, roadmap, and strategy ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Lead the product development process using best practice methodologies, ensuring iterative releases and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize the roadmap based on business impact, technical feasibility, and market demands.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and potential challenges.
- Use data driven insights to shape the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration to ensure alignment on product goals and requirements.
- Champion user-centered design principles and ensure that the product development process prioritizes exceptional user experience.
- Manage product budgets and resources effectively to maximize return on investment and ensure on time delivery of product initiatives.
- Identify risks and obstacles in the product development cycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate issues before they impact timelines or product quality.
- Ensure that product development meets all necessary regulatory, compliance, and quality standards (e.g., FDA, EMA, ISO). Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to navigate approval processes.
- Lead the execution of go-to-market plans, collaborating with marketing, sales, and operations to ensure the product is successfully launched and promoted.
- Regularly communicate progress, updates, and challenges to senior leadership, including C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
- Work with the commercialization teams to understand market dynamics and prepare for the scaling of products post-launch.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success in the market.
- Gather post-launch data and insights to refine and optimize the product. Lead product iterations and enhancements based on feedback from partners and customers.
Qualifications
Preferred: MBA or M.S. degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing or a related field with 5-9 years of experience in digital product management managing the full product lifecycle from concept through commercialization and least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in a health-related field is a bonus but not required.

Compensation, Benefits, and Diversity Commitment
Our compensation structure includes a base and semi-annual bonus. The range for this role is $150,000-$200,000 annually.
