Description
The Rehabilitation Services Director is responsible for overall program development and daily management of the facility Rehabilitation programs and supervision of all therapy staff and may also directly or indirectly manage MDS Nurse Coordinators. This responsibility includes maintaining budgets, managing staffing levels, achieve favorable payment reimbursement scores, optimize therapy productivity and oversee quality of services for the respective programs and affiliated program staff. The Rehabilitation Services Director will be responsible for developing and leading the strategic objectives of the Department in collaboration with the Administrator, Home and Community Care Leadership and other department heads as appropriate.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech Therapy
3 years experience working in long-term or sub-acute care
Preferred qualifications:
Master's Degree -or- Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech Therapy
Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association upon hire
Food Handler Card upon hire
AANAC Resident Assessment Coordinator - Certified (RAC-CT) certification upon hire
Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) Certified Professional upon hire
2 years supervisory and/or management experience in long-term care or sub-acute rehabilitation
1 year close collaboration or supervision of clinical nursing

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
