Electrician - JW & Experienced Apprentices
Job Description
Join our team to work on a dynamic construction project at a retirement home, where you will be responsible for installing, remodeling, and troubleshooting lighting systems.
Responsibilities
Install and remodel can lights in various settings.
Demo and replace old can lights with new installations.
Install and configure lighting control systems.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
Pull wires and bend conduits as required for installations.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in construction work, particularly in lighting installations.
Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems.
Ability to pull wire and bend conduit efficiently.
Skilled in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman (JW) level expertise in installing lighting controls and understanding terminations.

Work Environment
The work is based on a construction site at a retirement home, involving both indoor and outdoor tasks. The site operates from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Austin, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
