Responsibilities
In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Staff Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients undergoing ambulatory services procedures. This position effectively interacts with patients, significant others, families, and healthcare team members in order to establish effective interpersonal interactions while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities, seek guidance when in doubt, promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations and when requested, assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation. When called upon, the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.

Qualifications
Requirements:
One (1) year of previous clinical experience as an Endoscopy Nurse within the past three (3) years in an acute care hospital or clinic setting.
Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing preferred. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licensure:
Current California licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Current certification in Basic Life Support (CT BLS) for healthcare providers by American Heart Association.
Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (CT ACLS) for healthcare providers byAmerican Heart Association.

$85.40 - $113.77 /hour
