ABOUT THE ROLE
The Entegral Senior Software Engineer is responsible for innovating and providing solutions for our platform while developing new, and enhancing existing solutions. This position interacts not only with customers but also with senior management to develop strategies related to security, scalability, and stability of the platform. The Senior Engineer develops opportunities regarding emerging technologies and benefits company-wide. This position influences and participates in company-wide initiatives, focusing on the teams and the company.

You’ll work in a very agile and collaborative environment establishing advanced methods, theories, and research techniques that support the technical vision and strategy of Entegral. We’ll look to you as a subject matter expert in multiple areas of technology that will represent your team positively. You’ll provide viable recommendations for new solutions, lead their implementation, ensure team commitments are established and met, and guide less senior team members on new tasks and assignments. Daily activities include collaborating with Architects, recommending architecture adjustments, improving product quality and integration efficiencies, and monitoring key performance metrics to ensure compliance with standards, processes, and procedures.

The salary range for this position is $130,300 - $162,000. Actual pay depends on various factors including location, qualifications, market conditions, and operational needs. Compensation may include bonuses.

- Serve as a significant contributor using licensed and open-source frameworks, including Java, to develop software according to specifications.
- Collaborate with CloudOps, Enablement, and other engineers to analyze and resolve complex SaaS platform problems.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, planning, and review sessions using Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test libraries to ensure software quality.
- Lead design and code reviews.
- Mentor less experienced engineers through paired programming or mob sessions.
- Understand business operations to solve complex technical problems across teams.
- Lead technical development in design, coding, testing, deployment, and integration.
- Work with various architectural patterns and SOA applications.
- Develop and maintain complex automated test code and scripts.
- Strong front-end skills, including Angular experience.
- Influence product roadmaps with technical insights.
- Excellent communication skills.

Required:
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- At least 18 years old.
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated workspace for remote roles.
- Located in one of the specified states.
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields or a coding bootcamp certification.
- 5+ years of application design and development experience.
- 5+ years in SQL or NoSQL databases.
- 5+ years in Java or similar OOP languages.
- 3+ years in front-end technologies like Angular.
- 2+ years leading development teams or architecture.
- Experience in microservices environments.
- Occasional travel as required.
Preferred:
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Experience with RESTful/SOAP APIs.
- Experience in cloud-native development (Azure, AWS, Google, Kubernetes).
- Experience with SaaS, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Experience with frameworks like React, NestJS.
Qualified candidates should demonstrate current technology awareness, collaboration skills, leadership, mentorship, and a solid understanding of object-oriented development.
