Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for an Environmental Field Technician to join our Tampa, Florida (FL) office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
Manage field activities including FDEP sampling protocols and soil excavation oversight
Manage subcontractor oversight and coordination
Monitor single or multiple site construction activities for conformance with project plans and specifications
Prepare field reports and photos of construction activities and site investigations
May participate in meetings with clients and contractors
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License & the ability to travel for longer periods of time
2+ years of relevant experience preferred
Environmental and Remedial Construction Management knowledge preferred
40-hour OSHA certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
Ability to effectively communicate
Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients
Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic
Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment
Passion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals
