Position: EPIC Clarity Clinical Informatics Specialist (Job ID # 2888015)
Duration: 6 months + Strong possibility of extension

- Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Epic Clarity Data Model and/or Epic Radar and/or Epic Reporting Workbench with 3-5 years of application reporting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of business intelligence functions, advanced analytics, industry standards, and best practices.
- Advanced expertise in Epic clinical and administrative workflows.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex regulatory reporting using data to provide insights to decision-makers. Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Develop forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
- Work with business and clinical units to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Create specifications for reporting and EHR tools based on business standards and data elements.
- Optimize the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data filters and indexes that add value to users.
- Report to the Regulatory and Quality Reporting Manager. Responsibilities include data collection, metric validation, performance measurement, benchmarking, stratification, and visual presentation of analytic results.
- Collaborate with clinical, business, and IT partners to identify analyses and reports needed for strategic regulatory decisions.
- Partner with clinical and IT leadership on performance improvement initiatives across domains like Primary Care, Specialty Care, Inpatient Care Transitions, and Resource Utilization Efficiency.
- Demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based clinical processes of care related to preventive services, chronic disease management, and reducing preventable inpatient and ED visits.
- Ensure accurate and actionable data reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in demonstrating improvements in population health outcomes and healthcare utilization with regulatory submissions across federal and government programs.
