Excavator & Dozer Proficiency Trainers (WA)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Mining Skills Australia is seeking skilled Excavator & Dozer Proficiency Trainers to join our team in Western Australia. If you’re an experienced trainer looking for a flexible work arrangement, this opportunity is for you. Only Australian residents to apply/must be based in Australia. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Skilled Excavator Trainers (350t to 550t)
• Experienced Dozer Trainers (at least D9T experience)
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with operator step-up and/or refresher training
• Ability to document and maintain training records
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train and develop excavator and dozer operators with proficiency training
• Utilize cutting-edge technology to assist in proficiency information capture
• Maintain and document training records
• Deliver training with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with teams to enhance operator skill development
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for training programs

ROSTERS AND BENEFITS:

• Flexible rosters: 8/6 West Coast or 2/2 East Coast
• Day shifts only (12-hour shifts)
• Flights and accommodation provided

• Casual positions long-term (higher pay rate) + super
