Job Summary Details:
The Facility Technician (HVAC) performs maintenance, repairs and installation of assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems in accordance with client expectations and requests.
Pay: $30-32/hr

Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required
Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
3+ years of relevant facilities maintenance or technical support experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with standard maintenance equipment such as power tools, multimeters and plumbing snakes
Familiarity with building management systems and maintenance tracking platforms
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation to San Francisco and Palo Alto locations
Exposure to commercial kitchen equipment environments preferred
Availability Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM with flexibility for occasional after-hours support
Responsibilities:
Technical Maintenance
Perform basic to intermediate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment repairs per client guidelines
Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as directed
Conduct building inspections; report recurring facility issues
Document completed work adhering to client guidelines
Workspace Support
Configure event spaces per client specifications
Reset conference rooms and collaborative areas daily
Perform minor furniture and workspace installations/repairs
Operational Compliance
Coordinate task priorities through client dispatch protocols
Maintain tool/material inventory using vendor-approved systems
Follow safety regulations and PPE requirements
Systems Reporting
Submit repair recommendations through designated channels
Flag equipment degradation patterns for playbook updates
Provide automated status updates via client platform
Complete other duties as assigned
