Experienced Insurance field adjuster wanted to write up Xactimate Claims in the field. Current IA license not required. Must have experience in field and be at Xactimate Proficiency level 2 minimally. Need to be comfortable climbing on roofs, if needed.
The Ideal Candidate possesses the following:
Mitigation and remediation knowledge
Construction experience,
Drone operation skill
Analytical thinker
Full-time and part-time positions also available. Travel commute time sometimes up to two hours.
Job Summary:
An Field Adjuster visits site and writes up the "build back" Xactimate claim for the contractor. They assess property damage, document damage, and determine the value of a claim in accordance with policy terms. This role requires excellent communication, analytical skills, and common sense.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Claim Investigation
- Conduct in-person inspections of damaged residential property
- Take photographs, measurements, and detailed notes
Damage Assessment & Estimation
- Evaluate the extent of loss or damage
- Prepare detailed estimates using industry-standard software (e.g., Xactimate or Symbility)
- Order 3rd party tests, if needed
Documentation & Reporting
- Compile comprehensive reports
- Maintain accurate records
- Submit reports in a timely manner to the company
Customer Service & Communication
- Represent the company professionally
- Keep scheduled appointment times to ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Prior experience in claims adjusting or related field (required)
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverages, and regulations
- Xactimate proficiency, level 2 minimum
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
