Job Title: Fill/Finish Technician
Location: Frederick, MD
Pay: $19-$20/hour
Position Overview:
The Fill/Finish Technician is responsible for supporting laboratory operations by assisting with the assembly, labeling, and packaging of finished products, as well as maintaining equipment and inventory. This role ensures that all activities comply with established procedures and contribute to the efficient functioning of the laboratory.
- Product Assembly & Packaging:
- Assemble product kits, apply labels, and prepare goods for shipping.
- Equipment Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of laboratory equipment such as biosafety cabinets, incubators, and water baths.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in receiving materials from suppliers, verify accuracy of packing slips, and route paperwork to the appropriate department.
- Label incoming materials and forward necessary documentation to the quality team.
- Maintain organized inventory through periodic counts and proper storage practices.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Complete and maintain accurate records in compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining documentation related to equipment servicing, raw material tracking, and staff training.
- General Laboratory Support:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Support daily and weekly facility maintenance tasks, including temperature checks, cleanroom air pressure monitoring, and cleaning of work areas.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
