Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning Paraplanner to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our financial planning process by designing, building, and maintaining comprehensive financial plans. You’ll work closely with financial advisors to ensure plans reflect clients’ goals, risk tolerance, and current financial situation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with advisors to gather and organize client data necessary for financial planning.
- Build and update comprehensive financial plans using financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital).
- Perform scenario analysis and what-if projections to support client decision-making.
- Assist in the development of retirement, tax, insurance, education, and estate planning strategies.
- Prepare reports, charts, and plan presentations for client meetings.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure plans remain current.
- Monitor regulatory and industry trends to help ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a paraplanner or financial planning support role.
- CFP®, MSFS, certification or working toward CFP® designation preferred.
- Proficiency with financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
