Job Opening: Floor Manager at The Absinthe Group

Absinthe Brasserie & Bar, part of The Absinthe Group with over 20 years of success in San Francisco, is seeking a strong floor manager with wine program development knowledge. The ideal candidate has a proven record of achievement in quality-driven establishments that prioritize excellence in service, teamwork, and attention to detail.
About the Role:
- Proficient with TOAST and OpenTable
- Ensure all aspects of mise en place for each service
- Welcome guests and manage FOH Floor Staff
- Work effectively within a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Manage hiring, training, coaching, and counseling of Front of House staff
- Mentor and implement new ideas and service methods
- Provide organizational strength and resourceful problem-solving
- Respond to staff, guest, and vendor issues with a firm yet positive demeanor
About You:
- Hospitable, welcoming, and knowledgeable with outstanding customer service skills
- Currently working as a Floor or Assistant Manager
- Minimum of 4 years in fine dining
- Genuine passion for food, wine, and beverages
- High standards of service
- Excellent spoken English
- Love supporting high-volume fine dining and eager to grow in this environment
