Absinthe Brasserie & Bar is seeking a strong Floor Manager
Absinthe Brasserie & Bar, part of The Absinthe Group with over 20 years of success in San Francisco, is looking for a Floor Manager with wine program development knowledge. Candidates should have a proven record of accomplishment in quality-driven establishments that pride themselves on excellence in service, teamwork, and attention to detail.
The Role:
- Proficient with TOAST and Open Table
- Ensuring all aspects of mise en place for each service
- Welcoming guests and managing FOH Floor Staff
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Managing the Front of House hiring, training, coaching, and counseling
- Mentoring and training staff on new ideas and methods of service
- Providing organizational strength with logical, resourceful problem solving
- Responding to staff, guest, and vendor issues with a firm yet positive demeanor
The Person:
- Hospitable, welcoming, and knowledgeable with outstanding customer service skills
- Currently working as Floor or Assistant Manager
- Minimum of 4 years in Fine Dining
- Genuine passion for food, wine, and beverage
- High standards of service
- Excellent spoken English
- Passionate about supporting high-volume fine dining and eager to progress in this environment
