Overview: This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. kglobal, a Washington, D.C.-based strategic communications firm specializing in public affairs, public relations, marketing, branding, and crisis management, is looking for a Graphic Design Lead to join our creative team at a high-profile government agency. This role will provide design expertise on behalf of a civilian client. Ideal candidates will also have an Active Secret Security Clearance and previous experience with technical writing for the federal government.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and enhance communication products from brochures to flyers, photographs, icons, animations, posters, newsletters, correspondence, press releases, briefings, letterhead, reports, white papers, documents, forms, surveys, testimonies, stage props, costumes, invitations, product catalogs, SharePoint content, website content, social media content, video, and multi-media.
- Manage design layout, color, format, aesthetic quality, objectives, vision, and concepts for all communication deliverables.
- Leverage creative graphics, images, animation, photos, music, sound effects, and artistic mediums to enhance communication products.
- Provide photography and videography support to record and capture imagery for electronic, print-ready, and visual graphical communication products.

Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, AP Style Guide, working environment primarily on a government site in Washington, D.C. Off-site work may be permitted on a case-by-case basis but is not guaranteed.
