Role Overview: GSOC Analyst
The GSOC Analyst must be detail-oriented, with strong communication and analytical skills to respond effectively to events, and a team-first mentality. Daily responsibilities include monitoring global events from various sources, assessing impacts, and disseminating incident information to relevant parties. Analysts should be proficient in understanding data and crafting clear, impactful communications for a global audience. Regular monitoring of incident management systems and intelligence tools is essential.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor incident notifications and locations, providing analysis, data gathering, and investigation as needed.
- Track events such as developing situations, security incidents, disasters, and crises through open-source collection and coordination with local assets.
- Respond to inbound calls from employees and security personnel with customer-focused responses.
- Monitor advisories affecting business travelers and escalate issues to the security team.
- Write security incident reports to enhance situational awareness and communicate risks to management.
- Use online tools to monitor social media for situational awareness.
- Make informed decisions and take appropriate actions based on credible and meaningful information.
- Gather, evaluate, and disseminate information, supporting research for intelligence and briefings.
- Contribute to the development of procedures to improve risk management processes.
- Collaborate closely with security teams.
- Provide security monitoring and escalation notifications for emergencies and non-emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, reports, and forms.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent military experience.
- Interest or experience in Executive Protection, Intelligence, Operations, Critical Incident Management, or Emergency Response.
- Proficiency with current technologies and open-source search methodologies.
- Competence in Microsoft Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and similar tools.
- Willingness to sign an NDA and maintain confidentiality.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain professional under stress.
- Adaptability to dynamic situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective conflict resolution skills.
- Composure when dealing with authorities, executives, and the public under pressure.
- Availability for training outside normal hours.
- Willingness to work 8 to 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Experience with OSINT tools like Everbridge, Liferaft, Factal, ISOS, etc.
- Experience with CCTV/Alarm platforms is highly preferred.
This role requires physical and mental capacity to perform all functions, including passing background checks, handling sensitive information, multitasking, and working flexible hours. Physical demands include occasional reaching, lifting, and operating office equipment, with frequent sitting and standing.
