Job Description:
Sage is currently in search of a Director of Sales who will assume the crucial role of guiding the Sage Sales Development team in the United States. We are looking for an individual who embodies agility, fosters strong collaboration, and demonstrates exceptional leadership skills. This position will report directly to the Sr Director Sales
This seasoned sales professional will have a record of excellent sales leadership accomplishments in the technology industry, as well as a deep understanding of both Cloud/SaaS and Desktop software models.
This hybrid position requires commuting to the Atlanta (Ponce City Market) office on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week.

Setting the strategy, managing operations and driving the growth of our sales pipeline
Collaborate and align with marketing and sales organization to optimize lead generation campaigns and strategies.
Take the lead in nurturing and expanding a high-performing inbound and outbound sales development organization through effective leadership and development initiatives.
Cultivate and retain top-tier front-line sales development managers, focusing on enhancing their leadership and sales skills, encompassing coaching, development, forecasting, prospecting, and other essential competencies, all while maintaining individual commitment to goals.
Collaborate with the enablement team to design and execute onboarding programs that accelerate the integration of new Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and SDR Managers. As well as continued skills development for SDR organization.
Oversee the playbook to ensure consistent performance among SDRs and introduce new technologies, processes, and outreach strategies aimed at enhancing productivity.
Act as a strategic partner to the sales, marketing, and operations teams to identify and update processes, systems, and metrics, streamlining the inbound and outbound lead-to-opportunity process for improved speed, accuracy, and effectiveness. Offer data-driven recommendations for ongoing enhancements to our revenue generation engine and productivity.
Continuously refine and implement processes and strategies that maximize efficiency and productivity, guided by accurate data and data integrity.
Provide accurate forecasts for the Inbound and Outbound Sales Development pipeline and proactively identify and address potential risks.
Utilize data analytics to track and report on key performance metrics such as conversation rates, lead quality and pipeline progression.
Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing SDR strategies based on data-driven findings.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of Sage's entire range of offerings and identify opportunities for collaboration with other leaders, strengthening Sage's overall visibility, unity, and brand presence.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in technology and/or financial sales, with a minimum of five years in leadership roles overseeing SDR teams or Insides Sales teams in B2B environment.
Demonstrates exceptional presentation abilities.
Specializes in sales-focused prospecting and pipeline development.
Proficient in utilizing sales stack tools such as Salesforce (Lightening), Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and 6Sense.
Familiarity with tools like Genesys, LeanData, Eloqua,Gong.io, Highspot
Proven track record of fostering a positive team culture, motivating individuals, and nurturing their career development.
Exhibits a successful history of achieving measurable results and excels in fast-paced startup environments, displaying agility, strategic thinking, and exceptional tactical execution.
Extensive background in sales, with substantial software experience in SaaS, Customer Support, Sales, and CRM.
Possesses a data-driven mindset, capable of analyzing data, identifying trends, and making informed, data-backed decisions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, combined with outstanding project management abilities and impeccable business judgment.
