Our Client, a Luxury Brand, is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join their team on a temp basis to cover a maternity leave. This will be mainly supporting Benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Onboard new hires by providing comprehensive benefits enrollment support and guidance.
- Support with the annual open enrollment process, including communicating plan changes, hosting informational seminars/webinars, and distributing relevant materials.
- Administer leave of absence and workers' compensation cases, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Support to develop and deliver engaging benefits presentations on a quarterly basis to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate assistance.
- Process new hires, terminations, and employee data changes accurately and efficiently in all HRIS systems.
- Provide ongoing support to employees on HRIS system utilization and functionality.
- Support to prepare and manage monthly sales data within the commission system, ensuring accurate and timely calculations.
- Prepare monthly compensation reports
- Support to gather and analyze data for the annual compensation report, contributing to the development of competitive compensation strategies.
- Provide support during the annual Incentive Compensation Review (ICR) process.
- Assist the Payroll Manager with bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Meet with new hires to review benefit onboarding and provide guidance on navigating HR systems and other new hire orientation processes.
- Send welcome emails to new employees, providing a warm and informative introduction to the company.
- Other onboarding process including I-9 verifications, etc.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in compensation or benefits or HR related area.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other compensation and benefits management tools.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in benefits or HR Operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other HRIS systems.
- Luxury retail background preferred.
