About the role:
As an HSE Business Partner, you’ll take a hands-on approach to coaching and supporting safety performance and leadership behaviours and wellbeing across your region. With a strong understanding of WHS legislation, systems and culture, you’ll guide leaders in making safety part of how work gets done.
In this role, you will:
- Support and guide incident investigations with a root cause and prevention focus, applying structured thinking to reduce future risk
- Manage safety systems and documentation, ensuring compliance, audit-readiness and practical usability at site level
- Lead and deliver wellbeing initiatives, WHS committee support and training plans that are aligned to site priorities and budgets
- Coordinate injury management and Workers Compensation processes, including return-to-work planning, ensuring timely and supportive outcomes
- Use safety performance data and trend analysis to inform site strategies and advise leaders on proactive risk controls
- Build partnerships across teams using a One Team approach to drive continuous improvement, operational ownership and positive safety culture

- Qualifications in Safety, Engineering, or a related field (e.g. Diploma, Graduate Certificate or Degree), supported by relevant industry experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a safety leadership role, ideally within manufacturing or heavy industry
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and compliance
- Experience in incident investigation and injury management, including return-to-work coordination
- Proven ability to implement safety and wellbeing programs at site level
While your primary focus will be the sites in Western Australia, you may also be asked to support other Bradken sites from time to time as operational needs arise.
