Fast growing fashion apparel design firm is looking for a Human Resources Manager. Reports to the President managing all HR functions. On-site role in San Francisco with free parking.
Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of all employment law issues (Federal, State, and Local). Keep posters up to date.
- Managing the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Thorough understanding of company's personnel and payroll policies.
- Manage Retirement Saving Plan.
- Designing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, often with a focus on safety and quality control in manufacturing.
- Overseeing salary structures, bonuses, and benefits packages, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
- Ensuring adherence to all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies, including those related to safety and health. Setting clear performance goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback to employees.
- Implementing and maintaining workplace safety procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
Requirements:
10+ years of related experience
Excellent communication and organization skills
Experience with payroll process a plus
