We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Immunoassay Diagnostic Specialist to join our clinical diagnostics team. This role involves developing, validating, and interpreting a wide range of immunologic assays to support the diagnosis and monitoring of autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiencies, allergies, and infectious diseases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immunodiagnostics, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for advancing patient care through laboratory excellence.
Work Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Responsibilities**
Validate and implement new immunology tests or panels to meet clinical needs
Analyze and interpret immunologic test results with accuracy and clinical relevance
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment according to manufacturer and regulatory standards
Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory agency standards
Participate in quality control, proficiency testing, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all procedures, results, and quality assurance activities
Stay up to date with advances in immunologic testing and emerging diagnostic technologies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a non-traditional Bachelor's degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements; Masters is preferred
ASCP or AMT certification is preferred
2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required; preferably in immunology
Strong understanding of immunologic principles, test methodologies, and clinical applications is preferred
Experience with method validation and test development (e.g., LDTs) is preferred
Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (CLIA, CAP, HIPAA)
Excellent critical thinking, data interpretation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment
Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIS) and diagnostic instruments/software
