Job Description:
The Import Coordinator reporting to the Import Director. Activities and responsibilities of the Import Coordinator include:
Responsible for entering new Sales Orders
Issues order confirmations to the internal customer
Responsible issuing purchase orders to overseas supply base
Responsible for timely processing of purchase order confirmations from the supply base fo ensure accuracy of purchase order details
Maintains import data log for accuracy and clear communication
Effective management of the open order board, ensuring system updates with accurate information for all orders
Manage elevated expedite orders and coordinate with the appropriate personnel to ensure minimal supply chain interruption
Coordinate with broker and supplier to manage all inbound shipment paperwork
Active participation with the supply base to develop relationships
Support accounting through timely resolution of invoice discrepancies
Other duties as assigned
Professional Experience Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree (or pursuit of) in business-related field, preferably concentrating in Supply Chain or Purchasing
Work Experience:
Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel & Word, including ability to do VLOOKUPs in Excel
3+ years of related experience in a buying/purchasing role, international experience preferred

Position: Full-time, In-person
Work Hours: 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday
Hourly Pay: $21.00-24.00, depending upon experience
