Job Summary:
The Information Assurance/Cybersecurity Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing cybersecurity assessment and improvement initiatives across federal programs, with a focus on the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) environment. This position requires a strategic thinker with extensive project and program management experience, deep knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks, and the ability to lead high-performing cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will collaborate with interagency stakeholders, drive operational enhancements, and deliver executive-level recommendations that support mission-critical national security operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cybersecurity and information assurance teams supporting federal cybersecurity operations and CSSP responsibilities.
- Ensure alignment with DoD 8140/8570 standards and federal cybersecurity compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Oversee internal processes for cybersecurity audits, POA&Ms, A&A lifecycle, and continuous monitoring.
- Coordinate and lead security assessments, operational improvements, and oversight functions across multiple locations.
- Develop and deliver executive-level briefings, strategic recommendations, and performance reports.
- Drive change management initiatives to improve cybersecurity posture, resilience, and policy compliance.
- Maintain awareness of emerging threats, evolving federal mandates, and mission-critical operational changes.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of combined cybersecurity and project/program management experience within federal environments.
- At least 10 years of experience leading cybersecurity or information assurance teams.
- Professional certification in accordance with DoD 8140 (e.g., CISSP, CISM), or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Proven ability to manage large, cross-functional teams and coordinate across multiple stakeholders and agencies.
- Extensive knowledge of federal cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, and risk management practices (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, RMF).
- Strong communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations and briefings.
- Experience with DOE, NNSA, and interagency cybersecurity coordination strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of NNSA operations, as well as relationships with DoD, DOE, and related external entities.

Salary Range: $180K – $200K
