About The Role
Under the direction of the Team Leader – Interpreting Qualifications, you will be responsible for identifying and planning resource needs to meet course requirements for the Interpreting Qualifications (and other qualifications as required) within agreed timeframes.
This role can be located in any of the Deaf Connect offices.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Plan and manage course resource needs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with delivery strategies and qualification requirements.
- Design and improve training materials (e.g., guides, assessments, e-learning modules)
- Coordinate program development timelines and support continuous improvement to enhance learning design services for Interpreting and related qualifications.
- Consult and collaborate with stakeholders, industry experts, and internal teams to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with organisational and learner needs
- Ensure all training and assessment materials comply with RTO Standards, training package requirements, and copyright regulations, supporting quality, consistency, and audit readiness
About You
In your application, let us know if you have these key skills and experience:
- TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in instructional design with previous exposure to RTOs and AQF framework.
- Excellent writing skills with demonstrated experience writing VET materials linked to specific units of competency and qualification
- Experience working across a variety of delivery platforms, including eLearning interface (Moodle preferably)
- Thorough understanding of VET quality framework and ASQA Standards
- Microsoft Office suite
- Creativity and ability to design engaging content.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- High attention to detail
- Reliable time management skills and ability to complete projects within tight timeframes
- Ability to work well under little supervision.
