Description We are looking for organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialists to join our team on a contract basis in Alameda, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory operations. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a key project and collaborate with a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct physical inventory counts to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies.
Maintain detailed documentation of inventory movements and adjustments.
Collaborate with team members to streamline inventory processes and meet project deadlines.
Operate material handling equipment to move and organize products as needed.
Monitor inventory tracking systems to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
Assist in annual physical inventory procedures and audits.
Communicate findings and issues to supervisors for prompt resolution.
Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with inventory control standards.
Support the team in organizing and labeling inventory to enhance accessibility. Requirements - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Basic math skills and proficiency in organizing records.
Experience with inventory tracking systems or warehouse operations is preferred.
Familiarity with operating material handling equipment is a plus.
Willingness to work on a contract basis.
Previous experience in inventory control or related fields is advantageous.
