Description:

A Tech Lead plays a pivotal role in managing the ecosystem within their line of business. They maintain a holistic view of applications and dependencies, prioritize incoming requirements, coordinate project management efforts, and ensure effective tracking and reporting. Daily tasks include project coordination, stakeholder communication, reporting, and meeting facilitation.

Responsibilities –

1. Ecosystem Overview and Dependency Management
   Review ecosystem status, identify dependencies, and coordinate with teams to scope work related to technology lifecycle events or evergreen items.
2. Prioritization and Book of Work Management
   Validate and prioritize tasks with project management and stakeholders, considering budgets and financial impacts, and escalate challenges as needed.
3. Leadership and Stakeholder Reporting
   Provide updates to leadership through steering committees or reviews, highlighting progress and risks.
4. Intake Process Review
   Review incoming requests, coordinate with stakeholders, and add them to the work plan.
5. Daily Stand-Ups and Escalation Management
   Attend daily stand-ups, monitor progress, support teams, and escalate issues promptly.
6. Promote Enterprise Standards
   Collaborate with IT teams to promote standards, reduce non-standard technologies, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
7. Training and Info-sharing
   Facilitate knowledge sharing and develop best practices for risk remediation.
8. Reporting and Dashboards
   Manage dashboards, share data in meetings, and provide updates on project progress.
9. Project Coordination and Issue Tracking
   Coordinate projects, track progress on active items, and follow up on issues.
