Job description and Position Summary: Junior Legal Support Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the litigation department by assisting in data analysis, research, and reporting for legal administrative staff, litigation coordinators, legal and post charge off collector teams, and ops admin team.
The Junior Analyst supports the department leadership by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to assist in decision-making processes. This role involves preparing reports, conducting research, and contributing to projects under the guidance of senior analysts and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Data Collection:
o Gather data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability (Databricks, LMS, Simplicity, legal network reporting, internal legal reporting, etc.)
· Reporting:
o Create and maintain regular reports for litigation team, legal network and external vendors
o Ensure reports are delivered on time and meet the required standards.
· Litigation inventory and data management:
o Maintain and update databases and data management systems for litigation channel
o Ensure data integrity and security
o Assist in developing and improving data collection and analysis processes
· Litigation leadership support:
o Assist with various projects and tasks
o Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and insights
o Provide administrative support as needed
· Project Participation:
o Contribute to project planning and execution.
o Support cross-functional teams in achieving project goals.
Qualifications:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
