Senior Appian Developer
Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Senior Appian Developer. This is a full-time and hybrid position.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with key Federal and Commercial client stakeholders to re-engineer business processes and translating those requirements to BPM code.
- Gather functional and technical system requirements.
- Design and develop Appian applications and provide customer demos.
- Incorporate the functional requirements into the Appian business flows using Process Models, Rules, CDTs, and Web Service Integration.
- Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies.
- Contribute to the BPM and Case Management practice at A&S by sharing best practices.
- Support user testing business transition activities.
- Follow Federal standards for Digital Services and US Web Design Standards.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science or IT related field.
- 7+ years of Appian development experience.
- 6+ years of experience in development.
- Web Application and Relational Database (SQL Server, Oracle) experience.
- Cloud implementation experience, ideally with AWS.
- Agile/SAFe and other related developer certifications or demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills, customer interaction, requirements analysis, presentations, and system design required.
- Ability to obtain necessary clearance per contract requirements.
- Familiarity with Business Process Management Platforms/Frameworks, preferably Appian.
- Appian Certification.
