The Marketing Legal Specialist provides essential support for legal content across our promotional and loyalty program. This role focuses heavily on developing and reviewing terms and conditions for loyalty programs, sweepstakes, and promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Document Review and Preparation
- Review, draft, and edit a wide range of materials and documents across our brand portfolio, including: Terms and conditions for loyalty programs, Sweepstakes and contest rules, Promotional campaign terms and conditions, Marketing creative and advertisements
- Develop comprehensive terms and conditions specifically for our loyalty program, including: Program rules and member agreements, Special promotional offers, Point accrual and redemption policies, Partner integration terms
- Ensure all marketing materials comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Coordination
- Coordinate and manage communications between the legal and marketing teams
- Build and maintain a comprehensive terms and conditions library for various marketing initiatives
- Develop standardized templates for sweepstakes rules and promotional terms
- Help establish and maintain standardized processes for legal review of marketing materials
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, hospitality, or legal compliance roles
- Strong understanding of marketing, promotional, and advertising laws and regulations
- Experience drafting terms and conditions for loyalty programs and promotional campaigns
- Knowledge of sweepstakes and contest legal requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
