Description We are looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong experience in class action litigation and a proactive approach to managing legal processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be able to work onsite three days a week.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all aspects of class action litigation, including depositions, interrogatories, and investigations.
Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial proceedings, ensuring thorough readiness.
Assist in drafting and filing legal documents such as complaints, briefs, and claims.
Utilize case management software to organize and track case progress effectively.
Conduct legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Adobe Acrobat to support case preparation.
Manage billing functions and track expenses related to ongoing litigation.
Maintain and update calendars to ensure deadlines and schedules are adhered to.
Administer claims and oversee complaint handling processes.
Collaborate with attorneys to provide comprehensive litigation support.
Ensure compliance with court requirements and procedural rules throughout the litigation process. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in class action litigation.
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and case management software.
Familiarity with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for tracking and analyzing case data.
Strong knowledge of litigation processes, including depositions and interrogatories.
Experience with billing functions and calendar management.
Ability to manage claims administration and handle complaints effectively.
Excellent organizational and communication skills to support legal teams.
